Hi, I'm I'sha Gaines, M.Ed., LPC

Therapist. Holistic practitioner. Creator of Rooted Function Theory™.

I specialize in helping people through relationship transitions — whether you're questioning a relationship, on the verge of a breakup, or rebuilding after one ends. These seasons bring insecurity, loss of confidence, and emotional overwhelm. You don't have to face them alone.

Through Rooted Function Theory™, we uncover the patterns and root causes keeping you stuck, then build a healing plan that continues between sessions with practical tools, journal prompts, and strategies for everyday life. Clients describe me as real, personable, and refreshingly honest — and the work shows up in your real life, not just the therapy room.

Now accepting new clients. Flexible session times including mornings and evenings.

My Approach

My work blends clinical therapy with holistic practice to support mind, body, and spirit while addressing the deeper patterns that shape how we connect to ourselves and others. I work with individuals navigating relationship transitions, couples at a crossroads, and entrepreneurs managing the weight of building something while their personal life is shifting.

My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to shift unhelpful thought patterns, Mindfulness and Somatic Work, Rooted Function Theory™ to uncover root fears and core triggers, Kemetic Yoga and holistic practice for body-mind grounding, and oracle-integrated processing as a clinically grounded reflective tool. Together, these approaches reduce stress, increase clarity, and support your transformation from heartbreak into empowered, confident, and liberated living.
