MY IDEAL CLIENT
My ideal client is anyone at a relationship crossroads — ready to heal the past, get unstuck in the present, and create a future with confidence and clarity.
My ideal client is also someone navigating a relationship transition. That may look like:
Feeling unsure if they should stay or leave a relationship
Being on the verge of a breakup or just went through one
Healing from a past relationship, divorce, or situationship that left them questioning their worth
Wanting to repair a relationship but struggling with trust, communication, or recurring patterns
Recognizing that the same cycles keep showing up — conflict, people-pleasing, over-functioning, or fear of rejection
You may feel:
Stuck in heartbreak or confusion
Anxious about starting over
Embarrassed about past choices
Unsure of who they are outside of the relationship
Ready to change patterns but not sure how
WHEN WORKING WITH ME…
When Working With Me
Healing relationships — with yourself and others — takes courage. My role is to create a safe, supportive, and honest space where you can process what’s really happening beneath the surface. Clients who work with me can expect:
Real Conversation: I’m personable, direct, and compassionate. Clients describe me as “funny, real, and refreshingly honest.” Therapy with me feels supportive, but also grounded in truth.
Practical Tools: Every session comes with takeaways — journal prompts, self-reflection exercises, Root-to-Response™ practices, or mindfulness strategies you can use between sessions.
Parts Work (IFS) and CBT: We’ll explore the inner “parts” of you — the protector, the performer, the critic, the wounded younger self — and begin creating more balance and harmony between them. We’ll also explore your perception and how it’s shaping the world around you.
Rooted Function Theory™: You’ll learn to identify your root fears, emotional triggers, and recurring patterns in relationships, so you can respond differently.
Holistic Integration: We may incorporate mindfulness, hypnosis, breathwork, or Kemetic Yoga to help release stress and reconnect mind–body alignment.
Structure & Accountability: Healing doesn’t stop when the session ends. I’ll help you build sustainable routines and self-practices to keep progress moving.
The Outcome
Clients leave feeling more clear, grounded, and confident. Over time, you’ll notice:
Less reactivity to triggers
More confidence in communication and boundaries
A stronger sense of self beyond the relationship
The ability to decide — with clarity — whether to repair, release, or reimagine a connection
My goal is to help you move from the fog of heartbreak or relational confusion into a season of liberated living and healthier love.
FAQ
What’s your communication style?
I’m warm, personable, and direct. My clients often describe me as “funny, real, and refreshingly honest.” You’ll find that I’m supportive but not afraid to challenge you with the truth when you need it. I believe healing happens best in a space that feels both safe and authentic — where you don’t have to perform, hide, or censor yourself.
How do you help clients achieve their goals?
I blend clinical wisdom with holistic practices to help you get to the root of what keeps you stuck. Through Rooted Function Theory™, CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness, I’ll guide you in recognizing the patterns, triggers, and inner parts of yourself that drive your behavior and relationships.
Every session includes:
Practical tools like journal prompts, Root-to-Response™ exercises, and communication strategies
Somatic and mindfulness practices to calm the nervous system
Accountability and structure so progress continues between sessions
My goal is that you leave with clarity, action steps, and growing confidence in your ability to handle challenges differently.
What was your journey to becoming a provider?
I didn’t just study this work — I lived it. After my own season of heartbreak, identity shifts, and relationship struggles, I committed to over five years of intensive therapy focused on attachment, self-esteem, and purpose. That personal healing, combined with my training as a Licensed Professional Counselor, gave birth to Rooted Function Theory™, a model that bridges both clinical practice and lived experience.
That’s why my approach is unique: I’m not only drawing from research and clinical expertise, but also from a deep understanding of what it takes to rebuild yourself after difficult transitions.
What is a first session like with you?
Your first session is about slowing down and getting clear. We’ll talk about:
What’s bringing you in (breakup, relationship repair, transition, or stress)
What you’ve already tried, and what hasn’t worked
The patterns or triggers you notice in yourself and others
What goals feel most urgent for you
I’ll explain how I work — including Rooted Function Theory™, IFS, and practical tools — so you know what to expect. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with:
A clearer sense of your current patterns
One or two tools or reflections you can start practicing right away
A roadmap for how we’ll work together moving forward
Most clients say they leave the first session feeling heard, relieved, and with more direction than they had before.
