Scripture: “To be controlled by human nature results in death...” ~Romans 8:6, GNT~

The moral? Emotions are a natural part of humanity and while there’s no way to avoid having them, we need to avoid being consumed by them. This is necessary because our emotions can become thoughts that we dwell on and before we know it, those thoughts are driving our attitudes, words and actions. This can cause us make poor decisions, impact the dynamic of our relationships and even block our blessings. So while we need to allow ourselves to feel, we also need to take control of our feelings so that we are not consumed by them.

Today’s challenge: Let feelings be nothing more than feelings. Enjoy your weekend!
